peter sutcliffe
Hello. Looking in Advanced--> VOiP Phones in the console, I see the MAC addresses of some handsets in a tenant. There is a 'reveal password' eye beside the MAC address. The password doesnt seem to be the SIP password, so what is the purpose? Is it a hashed password? Vodia PBX
Every MAC has its own password, a device password which is generated by the PBX. This is like a "mini certificate". It is independent from the users password. For example, when the user decides to change the web password, it does not affect the VoIP phone registration.
