WaveL Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 Was trying to set up the voicemail forwarding feature when something strange happened. In the email settings in the domain settings where you have to fill out From, it was not retaining the information i put in. It was in the correct form ("PBX" <pbx@abc.com>) but when i saved the page after filling out the rest of the information all that was left was "\" and a message next to the box " " name="email_from" class=inputbig> " When testing the voicemails, as expected, were not forwarded to email addresses. Using 2.0, please advise. Quote
Vodia PBX Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 Yea in 2.0.3.1715 it is still a little bit "picky" and the example actually does not work. There was something with the quoting/escaping in the html forms I think. Try something like PBX <pbx@domain> or just pbx@domain. Quote
WaveL Posted August 2, 2007 Author Report Posted August 2, 2007 Tried both suggested solutions, even tried just typing gibberish. No matter what I type into the field, it is replaced with the backslash and " name="email_from" class=inputbig> Quote
Vodia PBX Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 What about just using "account@domain.com"? We are using this and that is a workaround until the string presentation in HTML is fixed. Quote
