Bill H
I prefer to use configuration files in the TFTP folder to set up and manage our Aastra phones. Plug and Play seems to get in the way and places certain assignments into the Aastra phones. I would like to completly disable Plug and Play. Does anyone know how to do this? Agreed - this feature needs documentation as it's a big black box mystery. Mine turned off and the only way to get it back was to re-install the software. Ahh! Vodia PBX
Still looking for a solution. Can Plug and Play be disabled???? Well, if the phones don't find the PBX then there will be no PnP. You can also turn off the TFTP server by clearing the TFTP port in the Ports section.
hosted
sounds like the best solution is to turn off the port and use an external application for tftpd
