Cell phone call-in prompt does not work

Hi,

 

I added a cell phone to a client's account. problem is that the "special" prompt does not answer, instead the phone starts ringing.

 

The setup is:

 

DID is set directly to the extension. We are not using an auto-attendant.

 

Should this work? or is an auto-attendant a must?

 

We are using V3

As far as I remember version 3 the AA is a must (also in 4). When you call directly an extension you just want that extension to ring. Otherwise it would be difficult to program an address book entry from the cell phone if you always have to go two stages.

Thank you for the prompt response. Do you think an AA with a timeout of 0 with no voice recording forwarded to the extension is a good idea?
