Web Interface phone

I am using snom One ver 2011-4.2.0.3950, snom 870 and snom 820. I am trying to using the web interface for the phone. I enter the ip address of the phone and receive a username/password request. What is the username and password and where can I set it. I have tried admin/(admin password), extension/password and other combinations. Thanks for you help.

You need to log in with the domain provisioning username and password.

 

As soon as 8xx devices support multiple login accounts we can provision also the user login credentials.

I tried using the Authentication user and Authentication password found under Domain Settings > Provisioning Parameters and this did not work. How can I find the domain provisioning username and password?

If you have access to the file system check the domains directory. There should be the XML file for the domain, which also contains the username and the password.

I am using the values from <prov_user> and <prov_pass> from the only xml under the domain directory. Any other thoughts?

That would be what I would be looking at... Other possibilities include the web password for the provisioned user and the SIP password.

 

If it all does not help, factory reset the phone and provision it again.

If you can trace 'http_user' & 'http_pass' in the xml file, that'd be the one you should use for login. Factory reset will clear them and allow unrestricted access.
