Address Book display

Recommended Posts

We are using SNOM One (pbxctrl-2011-4.2.0.3969) with Snom 320 phones and are not able to use the address book entries to display an incoming call. We are using a huntgroup to indicate from which incoming trunk number the call is coming. If the trunk is terminated directly into an extension it will show the corresponding address book entry.

Phones are provisioned by SNOM One.

Any ideas?

There might be a problem with the way the numbers are represented. 00331234 is not 01234...

But there was another post with a similar problem, so we are checking this anyway.

Numbers within the address book are written as +31331234567. The same representation is shown on the display of the SNOM 320 phones. If the trunk is sending the calls directly to the extension the name in the address book is correctly displayed. If the trunk is sending the same calls via a hunt group the calls are not display the name.

If using: Group Name (Calling Name) call is displayed as within country like 0331234567

If using: Group Name (Calling Number) call is displayed as +31331234567

However if the entries are changed back to the 0331234567 representation still only numbers are displayed in both configurations of the hunt group.

Note that the calls via hunt groups display the hunt group name as the "name". It does not dip into the address book to get the name.
