CharlieParker
I'm trying Intercom (*90) between 2 snom 820's but it rings normally. Permissions are set on the pbx. Any special set up on the phone? I'm using 2011-4.2.0.3981 (Darwin), snom firmware 8.4.18.
mattlandis
do you have 2 phone registered to the same extension in snom ONE? if there are 2 registrations on a snom ONE extension, when you make a *90 <ext> call to them it rings normally. CharlieParker
No, two separate extensions, 511 and 512.
mattlandis
so 1 snom phone registered to 511 and 1 snom phone registered to 512? If so, delete extension from snom ONE and add it again and it may fix it. We have had an issue already that *90 stops working and deleting extension and readding fixes it. (actually this method fixes some other problems too) try that.
CharlieParker
My ringtones.xml was missing <tone name="intercom" type="intercom"> <vendor ua="Polycom.*">Auto Answer</vendor> <vendor ua="Cisco-.*" type="call-info">auto-answer=0</vendor> <vendor ua="optiPoint .*" type="call-info">auto-answer=0</vendor> <vendor ua="snom.*" type="call-info"><{from-uri}>;answer-after=0</vendor> <vendor ua="Linksys.*" type="call-info"><{from-uri}>;answer-after=0</vendor> <vendor ua="Aastra.*" type="call-info"><{from-uri}>;answer-after=0</vendor> <vendor type="answer-mode">Auto</vendor> </tone> Thanks for your help, I'm just getting started, again, evaluating snom One. pbx support
Glad you got going again. FYI.. We heard in some cases that you have to delete the extension for the intercom to work. But we tested it in the lab few times and it worked well all the time. The version used were from 3.4.0.3201 to 4.2.0.3981.
