shopcomputer
I migrated a customer from PBXnSIP to Snom one Blue, the majority of their phones are Snom and re-provisioned succesfully. They have 2 Polycom 335 phones that I must get working on the Snom one, how can I get them provisioned. I even tried manually in the web interface changing the IP, user name and password and it does not register.
mattlandis
moishe, my article on gotchas when going from pbxnsip to snom ONE: http://windowspbx.blogspot.com/2011/02/gotchas-to-watch-for-when-migrating.html snom ONE blue will not provision and will limit the amount of non-snom devices but they should register. I think i've registered everything BUT polycom ;-) and they register. -make sure that the device didn't get blocked by the new hacker blocker -remember the non-snom REFER limitation matt
shopcomputer
Thanks Matt, After a few painful tries I got to manually register, quite difficult to manually provision with Polycom, they have many fields and every change needs a reboot. We must hack this to autoprovision maybe change the sip headers, I have several customers that will not move to Snom One until they now their past investment in third party equipment is secured. moishe, my article on gotchas when going from pbxnsip to snom ONE: http://windowspbx.blogspot.com/2011/02/gotchas-to-watch-for-when-migrating.html snom ONE blue will not provision and will limit the amount of non-snom devices but they should register.
