sudo Posted May 1, 2013 Report Share Posted May 1, 2013 I just deployed a new domain and they are using Polycoms and Snom870's. My problem is with the 870 not displaying the Message Waiting Indicator. Under the Account's Mailbox settings "Send message waiting indication:" is set to yes but its still not working. Vodia PBX Posted May 2, 2013 Report Share Posted May 2, 2013 Okay, then the phone should subscribe for MWI. You should actually see that in the registration tab for the extension. Why the phone does not render MWI remains a mystery though. Maybe we can trace it down to the NOTIFY being sent to the phone. Anything in the extension, for example, in the mailbox settings, sending out the new voicemail as email and delete it afterwards? Then that behavior would be perfectly okay.
