DND delay

We have V 5.2.1 running on Windows 8 computer.

When DND is activated (webinterface or snom 720) there is a delay at several minutes (app. 120 sec.) before it is shown on colleagues BLF buttons.

That sounds like there is something else going on which is not okay. Do you see the status in the web interface of the PBX immediately? What if you use the starcode?

 

I assume you used PnP for the phones. DND is propagated with a SIP subscription, and that should be (in theory) immediate.

When DND is activated on the phone (button or starcode), it is visible at the user webinterface immediately. When DND is deactivated on the phone (button or starcode), it is visible (updated) at the user webinterface after 120 sec.

 

When DND is activated on in the webinterface it is not updated/visible at the phone at all.

 

Yes, we use PnP for the phones.

 

We have 3 systems with this behavior (programmed using the same "master").

Can you turn on the debugging window for JavaScript? In Chrome that's when you right click on the web page and select "Inspect Element". Then there is a tab called "Network", where you can see the interaction between the PBX and the browser. There you should see the websocket communication. It should contain something after 120 seconds that gives us a clue what is going on. 120 seconds could be a timeout caused by the network/firewall.
