ahennis@voicespring.net
When recording audio for the system such as auto attendants or agent group prompts it would be nice to be able to review, rerecord and accept the recording. For example if I have an auto attendant 2000 and want to record the greetings I dial *982000 or *982000*1 or *982000*2, etc. Basically you have to record the audio and then hang up. There is no way to listen to or rerecord and accept the audio like you can when recording the primary voice mail greeting. It would be a nice feature to be able to listen to, rerecord and then accept the recording like you can do when recording the primary voice mail greeting. Vodia PBX
You can listen to them from the web interface; at least you don't have to "test" the prompts by dialing into auto attendant and so on.
ahennis@voicespring.net
Good point. I did not think about that, however I can not give everyone admin access to their domain. We have hundreds of clients using our hosted systems. Each client has their own domain. It is not fesiable to give domain access to so many people. I think this would be a good feature request. Vodia PBX
Yea of course they don't need to be system admin, domain admin would be enough. But user will not be able to see it from their web interface. We need to check if we can recycle the existing audio prompts for this, it is quite a hassle to record them, in each language. ahennis@voicespring.net
Would it not be possible to use the same prompts that are used when accessing voice mail for the first time to record the primary greeting? When accessing voice mail for the first time the system plays the standard prompts when accessing the voice mail menu. Prompt 4 records the main greeting which gives the option to press 1 to listen, 2 to accept and 3 to rerecord. Could those prompts be used?
