I wish I could give you positive feedback on this but IMHO it simply doesn't work. Here are my experiences:
1st install, the console will launch on one windows 7 machine but it will not log in to the server. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the software but the old settings keep coming back and cannot change them.
So I tried installing on another Windows 7 machine (64 bit) and it crashes before it loads. I tried re installing .net 4 client but it still doesn't work. Here is the problem signature:

Am I last to notice?
my first impression and notes:

i hate seeing star key option go away though.
-
thanks @steveb for update.
-
if pac v1 is available and still works, it should work for your purposes.
snom might know the location.
-
-
i agree with all your logic.
there is someone that make a sip based attendantconsole that is compatible with snomone/pbxnsip. i can't think iof the name right now...perhap snom can help?
(the option i'm thinking of DOES cost)

This one has gone full circle now. ;-)
Thanks for the update.

very valid point @voipguy.

thanks for the fast reply!
appreciated.

We actually just changed this before your response came and it DID fix it.
sigh...

trunks started failing at 9am today with sip 400 "multiple privacy headers" on outgoing calls.
We are using Nexvortex as the provider.
Anyone have any ideas what this might point to?
snom ONE 4.5.
We changed nothing in snom ONE and it started failing so suspect sip trunk provider, but provider say look at pbx.
Any ideas?

thanks for that answer.

this is a beautiful press release: http://www.snomchannel.com/voip-blog/snom-announces-latest-version-of-snom-one-ip-pbx-at-itexpo-booth-512/
but...
What specifically does this mean: "Broad SIP client support: The snom ONE now supports mobile SIP clients, running on popular platforms such as Android and the iPhone."
we have a customer that wants to use a sip softphones.
-will this work?
-is there sip refer support for softphone?
-do only andorid/iphone softphones works? or will pc softphones work?
-(please do not say to use the snom softphone---it is not realistically useable)
-how many softphone extensions can there be? is there a limit?
thanks for the quick answers!
-
The options that are absolutely essential:
#1-buttons speed dial and monitor
#2-buttons that do what it does now
think about: you're saying if we have 20 extensions and we have to have 20 buttons for monitor and 20 buttons for transfer for a receptionist? #1 the sheer amount of buttons needed and #2, you got to look at one button for monitor and thens transfer using another button? (are you guys in the real world? ;-) this is a bit crazy, if i may be blunt.

server 2008 foundation is just server2008 with limited AD user ability. Its limited to 15 AD users (i think)
haven't used it, but should work. test
-
BLF IS what we are using.
Is there another button type that does not have this behavior?
-
okay, how do we set a button that shows the in call/not in call of another and allows 1 button calling that user BUT does NOT pickup another persons calls?
1-For example we have a very busy Console operater and if she tries to transfer a call to an extension that happens to be ringing---it connects the call she is tranfering and the other ringing call!
2-number 2: employees can too easily pickup the CEO's phone.
#1 is the huge issue.
-
this is a very interuptive issue on a client.
Could we please have an answer?
-
there appears to be a new feature in 4.5 that makes it so if another phone is ringing (say ext 101) and on my phone i have a blf defined for for ext101, if i press that blf when it is blinking fast it picks up 101's call. We need to turn this off. Is there a way to do this?

snomONE Team: Looks like a great start for the snomONE client.
I think the design direction looks great.
