  1. I wish I could give you positive feedback on this but IMHO it simply doesn't work. Here are my experiences:

1st install, the console will launch on one windows 7 machine but it will not log in to the server. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the software but the old settings keep coming back and cannot change them.

So I tried installing on another Windows 7 machine (64 bit) and it crashes before it loads. I tried re installing .net 4 client but it still doesn't work. Here is the problem signature:

  3. this is a beautiful press release: http://www.snomchannel.com/voip-blog/snom-announces-latest-version-of-snom-one-ip-pbx-at-itexpo-booth-512/

    but...

What specifically does this mean: "Broad SIP client support: The snom ONE now supports mobile SIP clients, running on popular platforms such as Android and the iPhone."

we have a customer that wants to use a sip softphones.

    -will this work?

-is there sip refer support for softphone?

-do only andorid/iphone softphones works? or will pc softphones work?

-(please do not say to use the snom softphone---it is not realistically useable)

-how many softphone extensions can there be? is there a limit?

    thanks for the quick answers!

  4. The options that are absolutely essential:

    #1-buttons speed dial and monitor

#2-buttons that do what it does now

think about: you're saying if we have 20 extensions and we have to have 20 buttons for monitor and 20 buttons for transfer for a receptionist? #1 the sheer amount of buttons needed and #2, you got to look at one button for monitor and thens transfer using another button? (are you guys in the real world? ;-) this is a bit crazy, if i may be blunt.

  5. okay, how do we set a button that shows the in call/not in call of another and allows 1 button calling that user BUT does NOT pickup another persons calls?

1-For example we have a very busy Console operater and if she tries to transfer a call to an extension that happens to be ringing---it connects the call she is tranfering and the other ringing call!

2-number 2: employees can too easily pickup the CEO's phone.

    #1 is the huge issue.
