Watch the presence of the following extensions
then when the ext that i watch gets a call i would hear a MWI beet
so i have tried to only set up under Watch the calls of the following extensions then i cant use the option to grab a call based on BLF (*87>ext )
please explain what is the different of both

these known issues as well with the voice mail,
what happens is the PBX send its only to the 1st email address,
the issue was in version 3 as well, Ive actually had one version in version 3 that didnt have this bug
-
Well, I guess the people at the front desk would probably wonder how they can use soap to wake someone up... A better solution would be to use the web interface and set the wakeup from there.
But you are right, we need to extend the wakeup call star code, so that you can put the extension number behind it (for example, *6240). The permission for that will be the permission to clean up the room, reset the extension which is typically used in hotel environments.
will you be able to add it in the next version
-
Any way to set up the wake up call for other ext in the same domain ?
here is the scenario its an hotel and the main front desk would like to be able to set up the wake up call for all the rooms, such as *62*602 etc
is there any way to do that ?
please advice

PBX does not seem to have any limit on how many CDR records to include in 1 email. Can you forward the email report to support@pbxnsip.com just to see the if we understand each other correctly?
what email should i fwd?
this subject ? on the PBX if we had up to 999 call i will see it all on the midnight cdr report, but if we had 1050 calls i will see 999
-
I see two possibilities for that. The first one is that the PBX changes the codec during the call setup. We introduced a flag calls "lock codec" later, make sure that it is turned on.
The other thing is the loopback calls. This continues to be a pain in the neck. SIP is very complicated when it comes to sending a request our and then it comes back to the system with all those tricky strict and loose routing and loop detection RFC... The easiest way to address this problem is to run it through another B2BUA, typically a PSTN gateway and implement the loop on the PSTN side.
Yea, we decided to use email a lot more than before. Most of the emails are early warnings, e.g. for the case when the call gets disconnected while there is a one-way audio situation but not long enough for a PBX-initiated hangup. Typically, if both parties are real persons, one will look into the handset, say "heh?" and then hangup. We wanted to be able to capture these kind of problems as well. FAX is a situation like this, because T.38 is a very strange protocol with long periods of media flowing only into one direction (well, after all sendin ga page goes only into one direction).
A email rule in your email client might do the trick here to fish out the fax-related false alarms.
we have been experiencing the same issue,
i would say 1 out of a 100 calls,
same issue only on v4. and above and on 3.4 we never had such issue

Are you talking about the daily CDR email?
yes the midnight cdr report via email

There is a TAPI service provider available (see http://wiki.pbxnsip.com/index.php/TAPI_Service_Provider), that should solve his problem. The latest version is 1.1.
please send the link for TAPI
would this work in a hosted solution ?

why will i only get the max up to 999 calls via email
evan we had 1100 calls i will only get via email 999
how can we set up to give unlimited/ the total calls,
-
and if you are on a call it will keep beeping as a call waiting

the issue here is the client already haves IP phones and they want to use pbxnsip just cause of the key lines, and they only need the key lines for 5 of the phones, my question is can they use there current polycom and Astra phone and just change 5 of the phones to snom, will it work the key lines as well with the polycom and Astra ext ?
-
i would like to know that if in order to use the key lines with the PBX does all phones need to be snom ?
i have a client that already have a mixture of Astra and polycom phones, if we add just a few snom phones will it fully function with the astra/polycom ext ?
-
cant wait to have that option to transfer back from the cell phone to an other ext,
any idea when this will be available ? 4.3 or 4.4 ? i hope not at 5.0
thanks

Hmm, tested here in the lab and if I press the wrong extension number, then within couple of seconds after playing "this extension number does not exist", AA starts playing "Please enter...".
What version are you using?
but if i upload my Owen IVR recoding it wont go back and play that wave file
i have test it on a few version
on 4.1.0.4026 & 4.0.0.3344 & 3.5.0.3301 and all have the same issue
please advice
-
would be great if it can be added to next release that if you select any wrong ext or wrong selection it should start again to the main menu of the ivr
-
i think the same
thats really a complain that we normally get from all new clients that we set up with this system that there every one was used if they have select a wrong option/ext they didn't have to redo the entire call
would be nice to add it in the next version
-
Still there... Just changed the name to "Set night mode for domain accounts"
Yes it's the same
Thank You

i just upgraded to .4026!
Guys, let the world know what you are doing! ;-)
Some updates:
-more standard web convention to edit accounts
-define what columns show in account list: mac address, cellphone, email,
-more "global change" options in the account list: reboot, remove cellphone, remove mac, enbable/disable
-fixed bug in WAC that only one extension at a time showed presence
Probably more...but this is some kind of easter egg hunt. ;-)
Matt
Yes it's working great
I noticed that Forward calls to domain accounts * code is missing on this version was there any problem that it was removed ?

i am using 4.1.0.4012 (Win32) and if i try to change a current IVR with a new wave file it wont overwrite but the old WAV will still continue to play,
but i have tried to add new IVR and it works well, the issue is only when we try to change the current IVR
please advice
