  1. I'm not sure what you mean by 'similar'. What I did was : clear the log-file, make a call, fetch the log file and send it over.

I am using Pbxnsip Version 4.3.0.5021 (Win32). I just stopped the pbx and put the snomone pbxctrl.exe file in place of the other.

Were you able to roll back to Pbxnsip Version 4.3.0.5021 and post the sip trace of your successful call here? We can determine what needs to be configure on snomone beta corona 2011-4.5.0.1030 header page by looking at the invite to the trunk provider.

  2. Hi,

is the upgrade procedure for snomone+ tested and working via the web interface?

Last time we had a few issues but I see my boxes now showing the following are available:

    snom ONE 2011-4.2.1.4025 >>> 2011-4.5.0.1030

    Sangoma NBE 4.1.4-1 >>> 4.1.6-1

Are the upgrades warranted? needed? recommended?

We also have some specific sangoma E1 configurations in one of the boxes. Can we apply this and not loose it?

I would not touch that installation if it's the R2 sangoma worked on. I would pin them 1st.

    MRX

    Thanks

    Nathan

if you do want to upgrade sangoma make sure you backup your sangoma configuration in the Backup/Restore tab, if you don't it will overwrite your settings.

after the update you can import the sangoma config files.

  3. All,

The online snom ONE Certification Training course will officially be launched in mid-March 2012. In the meantime, we’re launching it to all snom employees and distributors. Please feel free to register at onlinetraining.snom.com and view some of the videos. The course materials are located at onlinetraining.snom.com and include almost 50 videos, software simulations, real-life examples, and assessments. Note: All participants are required to register at the site, as snom logins have not yet been integrated.

Please forward all feedback to training@snom.com

Have you tried tuning off TLS? The log shows that we are resolving to outlook following a timeout. Check your credentials as well.

  5. Not sure if there is any helpful information here besides that I am $%^& out of luck...???

Have you tried filtering the wireshark to only view the sip packets and saving them? have you tried what I mention above to un-bind the cpu core and restart the service?

  6. is it possible for to set up Port mirroring and capture a wireshark trace from another computer? also when you bound Affinity to CPU1 did you restart the service? Can you unbind the core and see if that makes a different in quality since we bind to core 1 by default?

  7. In the trunk section there is a setting called "Ringback(Support early, media)" set this to message 180. The sangoma log indicated that we are receiving the ANI and the unknown-caller-name as well. The snom phone is capable of showing both the name and number, you can check this setting on the phone.

    http://wiki.snom.com/Settings/display_method

also there is a setting called "force local ringback". If you set that then PBX will play the ringback to the caller.

Are you able to hear the caller?

  8. All the wave files I used for test are in correct format. I even tried to delete the old ringtone wave file and upload a new one, but it still played the old deleted one. Once I restarted the service, it started to play the new wave file.

Can you attach the wave file here?

  9. Did you check the snom/snomONE/recording directory?

also make sure that "Record incoming calls to hunt group" is set to on.

in case it's off on the domain level.

I would open the recording directory, make and inbound call and refresh the folder and see if the recording has been created.

  10. Hi,

Recently purchased a Snom ONE Plus yellow and still have troubles getting it configured. The manual is inadequate if you not doing SIP configuration and/or you are outside North America (very US-centric manual).

We currently only have PSTN with 6 lines and I have been in touch with Sangoma and they have accessed our system to confirm that the gateway is configured and started correctly. They have also mentioned that they can see no outbound calls arriving to the gateway (we have no inbound calls right now as they are devirted to another service).

What should the truck configuration be?

In the Trunk Destination field, what does NBE represent? I am assuming Netborder Express but the manual gives no clue

Are the values that get auto-popluated in CO lines correct when I select NBE? I cannot change these (it always reverts back)

Is the Proxy Address value of localhost:5066 correct? The Netborder Express gateway seems to be running on this port.

And more generally, what other fields should I be filling in with this set-up?

Many thanks for any help with this,

    Stephen Westrip

We have set up a template for sangoma for easy configuration when using co lines. If you want something simple you can set the "Trunk Destination" to Generic Sip Server

The Proxy Address should be 127.0.0.1:5066 depending on what was set in the sangomas "quick setup" also make sure that Send call to extension is populated.

If you want to make outbound calls you will have to configure your dial plan.

  11. Hi,

I am using PBXnSIP 4.3.0.5021 (Linux). After I upload a new wave file as the extension's ringback tone, the system is still using the old wave file as the ringback tone. I have to restart the PBXnSIP application in order to make the new wave file work. It seems it's a bug in version 4.3.0.5021. Any idea?

    Thank you.

If we are talking about the extensions "mailbox" section "Ringback"

you have to make sure when uploading a WAV file it must be 8 kHz Mono, 16 bit mono, preferably PCM format.

I tested it under 2011-4.5.0.1016 Alpha Monocerotids (CentOS32)and 2011-4.3.0.5021 (Linux) and did not have to restart the service.
