  1. This worked thanks! but inability to add buttons, mac does not populate into a button profile, when looking at the available button templates on Vodia66 the GXV3350 falls right out of company with its brother and sister phones the 3370 and 3380. Is there a way to tell Vodia to just use a GXV3370 button template since the 3350 is missing - they are the same phone, just different screen sizes but since its VMPK soft buttons i'm sure the phone wont care.
  2. I realized this exact same issue as thomas.lange, i discovered that if i have anything registered on the extension then you can't set it to FAX mailbox type anymore as it doesn't work (sometimes we throw an ATA on the fax extension so we can send faxes) but we want Vodia to receive them so what we used to do was set extension to DND and mailbox FAX and this did the trick - but not anymore. Workaround for me was setting it to Mailbox mode, answer after 1 ring and then for the voicemail greeting i have a 20 second blank wave file that I upload to the greeting, once Vodia hears the fax tones of the sender, it receives the PDF and emails it as it should. Also another bug is that through user web portal or admin portal in Chrome browser you can no longer open the faxes that way, through the user portal they show up as 0 size audio files now, so if your storing faxes on the PBX, only the email function works to get it off the PBX.
  3. what template to use for the new GXV3350? the GXVxxxx or the GXV3240 (older model) i've not had success with either yet, but maybe you can narrow down my troubleshooting. am using Vodia65.
  4. thanks - do you have the MAC and LINUX versions available for download as well please?
  5. The download links located here: https://blog.vodia.com/Vodia_windows_app have all gone dead recently and we are on environments where the Windows Store and iTunes store are either blocked, not supported (ie: Windows7) or not permitted as part of the network restrictions (domains). We were previously relying on these links in order to access to the EXE and DWG installers to use the Vodia PBX App. Could you fix these links or provide an alternative way to download the VodiaPhone installers without relying on Microsoft Store please?
  6. Hi, so the only success i have had here is if i make up an extension in the pattern field that does NOT correspond to a valid extension on the PBX then I can get the P option to work, or I can make it follow a replacement pattern or block it entirely. So i can replicate a syntax that does what i want with a made up number/extension... But, If the extension or star code I input into the pattern field is a valid extension on the PBX then anything in the replacement field, including using PIN or CMC is ignored. I've been at this quiet a while with dozens of permutations, i only posted 2 that I thought best corresponded to your suggestions. I'm really confused about how you've explained to select call extension from the trunk pull down and then disable from the status pull down as this is in direct conflict with the documentation that i read very thoroughly, it says "Status. In addition to the service flag, each entry may be manually enabled or disabled." What effect would making dial plan entries and then disabling the entry entirely have? This option is for temporarily bypassing the entry so it has no effect, its not part of the syntax. I must be misunderstanding you then as obviously you know more then me, lol... Can you send me an example that you think might work and I will test that? Just make the example how to block calling extension 108 and how to block dialing star code *99 and then I can replicate this for all extensions and star codes once I have one working example of how this should work please. Thanks!
  7. I've tried a few dial plan routines as you suggested, the star codes do not seem work in the dial plan, i put the \ before it as indicated in the documentation but nothing happens, star codes still work unaffected by the dial plan rules (see attached example). In the second attached example i thought maybe i'll just forward any attempts to do star codes to an auto attendant message where I can pre-record a message saying this feature is disabled, but its not forwarding the call either. Any attempt to manipulate a star code in the dial plan has no effect, even if i enable PIN mode, no effect. As for the Trunk drop down "call extension" the documentation suggests this feature is for sending calls to extensions, not disabling calls to extensions, so when you said to select "call extension" and "disable" it i'm not sure how that's done since the trunk pull-down only lets you select ONE thing at a time. Under the Status i can select disable, but the documentation suggests the status column is for disabling the dial plan rule entirely so this would not have the desired effect since i need the rule to be enabled in order to have any effect. See the bottom row of my 2 examples for the attempts i've been playing with.
  8. We want to setup some phones that would be in hotel lobbies, the phone extensions should allow for outgoing calls to external numbers ONLY and not allow calls to internal extensions or to access any feature codes or internal voicemail. The Hotel Permission is supposed to deal with the star codes restriction but that didn't work as expected as even with Hotel Permission applied to the extension, I can still dial any * feature code i want from that extension. I then tried adjusting the Vodia dial plan to NOT ALLOW numbers with XXX pattern but that does not seem to have worked either as local extension dialing doesn't go through the dial plan it would seem. Has anyone else successfully setup a featureless phone that only dials outside numbers and nothing else? I'm using Snom D120 phones and Vodia 62.0.3
  9. With the older model Yealink video phones, there is no way to turn on a "start video" button that I can tell, the VP530 is a beast of a phone, but it lacks this one simple feature. Its a completely different firmware then the newer Yealink phones (screenshots) and i've already tried every conceivable permutation of options to see if there is a built in start video button. Can you think of a way to do it by Action URL button? or perhaps an XML button that asks Vodia to RE-INVITE with video? or is there any way Vodia can send the audio/video in the original invite? Unfortunately the Mobotix intercom (which is the caller) doesn't have an option to re-invite either, it makes the call with audio and video right away and its up to the phone to accept both, with vodia not forwarding the video request on the original invite, and the yealink not having a way to re-invite, its road blocked this install until i find someway to re-invite with video. I'm using Vodia 62.0.3. Any suggestions? I wish we could just replace these phones, but cost is an issue for the client and I didn't foresee this dilemma. Thanks again;
  10. I think i've got an incompatible model, it provisions some fields but doesn't add a video start button nor can I find a way to enable such a button in the phones settings. It's an older model Yealink VP530 that our client has 10 of. Would you happen to have the XML code i could try pushing to the phone, or perhaps as a BLF key? thanks for your reply to such an old topic!
  11. Hi, i'm dealing with discrepancy #5 above in that the Yealink phone does not have a start video button. Do you have a suggestion on how to overcome this for use with a video door intercom that users need to see video on their Yealink phones to see who is at the door? I was confused on your suggestion to deal with it using 888voip's service, not sure how they can help, their forums turned up nothing on this topic. I was wondering if perhaps an ActionURL button could send a re-invite with video but I dont know the syntax to try that vodia would accept. Customer had legacy Yealink video phones with a mobotix video doorphone from before we switched them to VodiaPBX so we have inherited this problem and trying to resolve without telling customer to buy all new video phones.
