jag Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 http://www.free-press-release.com/news/200...1221667087.html pbxnsip paired with Sangoma Gateway Cards Provide Superior Building Blocks for Communication Platforms, In order to meet the growing needs of businesses, the new pbxnsip solution is complete, reliable, and totally secure 17 September 2008 – pbxnsip, a leader in SIP-based IP PBX software for Microsoft Windows, MAC and Linux environments, today announced the company has developed its IP PBX software to support Sangoma® Technologies Corporation, newest product line, NetBorderTM Express VoIP Gateway Cards. This has further enhanced its offering with a new overall solution for IP telephony, a segment that is posting rapid growth and attracting increasing interest from businesses worldwide. Sangoma's award-winning telephony cards together with this new set of software building blocks, deliver a robust pbxnsip to TDM VoIP Gateway solution. pbxnsip resellers, distributors and end users can use NetBorder Express with their pbxnsip IP PBX to deploy future proof, stable and secure solutions. The NetBorder Express solution is unique, as the gateway card can reside in the same server as pbxnsip IP PBX software. Also, the installer, configuration, and management interfaces can easily be integrated to deliver a single, tightly-coupled solution, as an alternative to pbxnsip and an external media gateway. “I'm very pleased with the ratification between pbxnsip IP PBX and Sangoma NetBorder Express Gateway, we have been looking for such a product for many years and I have lost count of the number of queries from pbxnsip resellers for a server driven internally deployed gateway. I'm very excited to see the NetBorder Express success over the coming months” said Jonathan Greenwood, CEO pbxnsip Europe Ltd "When developers need to incorporate VoIP gateway functionality on their next generation platforms, they are faced with two choices: to buy an off-the-shelf gateway, which works well but will not provide a tight level of application integration, or to develop their own, which will be very costly in R&D and remove focus from application development," said Frederic Dickey, Director of Product Management for the NetBorder product line. "Sangoma's NetBorder Express Gateway Cards provide customers the best of both worlds - a ready to use gateway, which also easily integrates with the customers' applications." NetBorder Express Gateway Cards include Telco-grade, hardware echo cancellation. Customers can purchase up to eight spans on a single board and can put multiple boards in a server alongside pbxnsip IP PBX. NetBorder Express 1.6 is available now for Windows with T1/E1 interfaces. Analogue and BRI interfaces are planned, as is a Linux version of the software. The trial download for setting up pbxnsip Version 3 for Windows, MAC or Linux can be found on the pbxnsip website at: http://pbxnsip.com/trial If you already own a Sangoma T1/E1 card with hardware echo cancellation, you can download a trial version of the software from the Sangoma web site at: www.sangoma.com/nbe_trial/ About pbxnsip pbxnsip makes SIP-based Private Branch Exchange (PBX) telephone systems. hosted Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 We have been testing this for the past week and its very solid. Sangoma makes killer echo cancellation cards and the voice is flawless. Think about selling a PC box with $1,000 T1 card with echo cancellation. your total cost would be about $2,000. For a feature rich PBX with T1 capacity. This is very exciting! We will have the T1 card bundles on our website by the end of today. Quote
