Call record using snom phones

Hi:

 

I am trying of to record a current conversation using the record button of one Snom 320; I have configured the email address at extension of the Snom 320, and I m using a license with call recording, also I have used a version without call recording.

 

I am expecting a mail to such email address attached with the wav produced by the recording, but it does not happen, all the other messages like voice mails arrive to the email address, but file with recording does not :blink: .

 

I renember some previous version where this feature was working fine, by now I use 3.0.0.2998.

 

Any body can tell me what is happening?

Can you please verify the "recordings" folder under the pbx install directory? If the file is generated there, then there must be some issues in sending emails.

I think there is an issue with the email of recordings in 3.x. as I am having a similar problem since upgrading to 3.x. The recordings are created but not sent via email.

Hi:

 

It think the problem is not sending mials, PBXnSip sends ok the email with the attachment when is one voice mail, but when it needs to send one mail with the attachment with the recording just it does not.

 

I cann see it with one sniffer when the recording ends, just don´t send it.

That was supposed to be a feature... The recordings are now available from the web interface and are shown as such.

 

The motivation behind this was that you might want to receive voicemails as emails, but not recordings. Maybe we need another flag that tells the user what to do with the recordings, just like with new voice mails.

PLEASE.... Add the flag! In the meantime, is there a way for us lay folk to activate the feature again?

It will be included in 3.1.

 

Where to find this option (treat recordings as voicemail-messages -> send them also as eMail-Attachment). Reording works -> They are available at the Extensions User-Webinterface, but not sended as eMail. Every other eMails are sent by the PBX so the issue isn't a problem sending eMails at all.

 

Did you mean the "General Setup / eMail / Sending eMails / Notification about new recordings"-Option. This is set, but still no Mails with recordings are sent.

Did you mean the "General Setup / eMail / Sending eMails / Notification about new recordings"-Option. This is set, but still no Mails with recordings are sent.

 

The setting is called "send_recording" and it is a global setting (see http://wiki.pbxnsip.com/index.php/Global_Configuration_File on how to change it).
