RichardDCG Posted May 9, 2021 Report Posted May 9, 2021 Hi, The release notes for 67.0.3 state: Avaya. Added Avaya provisioning, especially buttons and reprovisioning etc. Set the right call pickup starcode, BLF incoming call for other extensions should not be like a call but a silent indication that you can pick up, and use the right side hard keys of the display for buttons. I cant see that under phone provisioning on the web admin? I am using v67.0.3 on a hosted PBX. Quote
Vodia Telephone System Posted May 10, 2021 Report Posted May 10, 2021 Can you please elaborate? Those are things that should happen automatically. When the phone is provisioned, it should get the buttons and they should behave correctly like that without having to set anything. Did you provision an Avaya phone and it does not behave like that? You can also update to 67.0.4 which is just newer of course and also may have further improvements for this as well. Quote
RichardDCG Posted May 10, 2021 Author Report Posted May 10, 2021 I will look to updating, I expected there to be an Avaya section in the Phones menu for provisioning. The buttons template is there but no auto provisioning. Quote
Vodia Telephone System Posted May 11, 2021 Report Posted May 11, 2021 There is nothing different for Avaya. You just have to add the MAC into the extension to which you want to register the phone to, open it for mac based provisioning for the first time as described in our document, and direct the phone to the Vodia PBX and reboot it. It should get provisioned. Then go to the buttons to set up the buttons etc. Quote
RichardDCG Posted May 12, 2021 Author Report Posted May 12, 2021 Yes, I understand that bit. I expected there to be an API portion in the phone provisioning similar to the Yealink, Snom, GS etc. Quote
