Vodia PBX
Alert-Info: <http://127.0.0.1/Bellcore-dr2> That means that the PBX was not able to detect the Polycom phone during the registration. Does the phone sit behind something that changes the User-Agent string? From ringtones.xml: <vendor ua="Polycom.*" type="alert-info">Auto Answer</vendor> Seems that the user agent seem in the REGISTER message does not start with the string "Polycom". mattlandis
Is there more than one phone registered to any of the extensions involved in the intercom? If so, in the later versions of pbxnsip you can't intercom--it treats call like a normal call. matt

I think it is that the destination of the intercom call can only have 1 registration for it to work with auto answer and it doesn't matter if the source has multiple. At least that's how it works with Snom phones.

At least that's how it works with Snom phones. Well, based on the above log file, there are 2 UAs registered for extension 210 (destination). That is definitely a reason why intercom did not work. Vodia PBX
What about on this call. It looks like it is only sending out 1 invite to 205 and the extension is only showing 1 registration. Is the message-summary and dialog subscription causing problems? [...] Alert-Info: Auto Answer Well, the PBX tells the phone to "auto answer". So it is not a problem with the number of registrations. This works only if the Polycom was automatically provisioned by the PBX, as the default config does not support the intercom mode.
