Im having a problem with a customer

this is how i have it set up

you call the DID

A Auto Attendant picks up and plays the greeting

customer inputs 1 which is set to go to account 020 which is a Hunt group

int hat hunt group i have extension 302 to ring at the first stage for 45 then final stage is a voicemail

the problem im having is when you input 1, it goes straight to the final stage destination on hunt group / account 020. it doesnt ring the extension first

but if i input his extension then it does ring that phone

included is a logfile

i do see 2 messages which could that be the issue?

1 is: INVITE Response 302 Moved Temporarily

2 is: Hunt member returns error code (1 members)

Well, that means that phone does not accept the call and requests the PBX to send it to another destination. However, the hunt group does not follow redirections. That is a very good and indended feature! If the user set the redirection on the PBX, the behavior would be the same.

  • 2 weeks later...
issue was with customer had his call forwarding activated on the actuall phone

thats where snom phones are rich, they share everything they do with the PBX, including DND and Call Forwarding

Try to explain the customer that he has to use the star codes to use these features. IMHO still reasonable, in the glorious old PBX days it was the same.
