mattlandis Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 Hello, It seems we can only park calls in an space that is an extension number. Is this how pbxnsip is meant to work? for example if i transfer a call to *85200 when there is no 200 extension it will fail. i thot at one time you could park in an arbitrary parking space? tx Matt Quote

No, you are right it has to be an extension. Originally there were seperate park orbits; but that had the disadvantage that you always needed to assiciate the extension with a park orbit. Having this in the same number makes it very easy to park the call (almost like holding it) and then later retrieve it from there. Quote
rudik Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 I am using accounts (not extensions) as park orbit. Configuring for example a Service-Flag as park orbit works for me...
