Is snom still selling stock from 1990? why do I keep receiving phones with V6 firmware?

hopefully snom tolls the forums :)

Such a pain!

What would be cool, because pbxnsip is so cool, is if the PBX would magically detect the firmware was on V6 and go through the V7 upgrade process. that would be such a cool feature.

Such a feature exists (as far as I remember) if you are using the multicast PnP method. But I agree, it is surprising that you get devices with a firmware which is at least two years old.
