hosted
the admin manual says V4 can use multiple cores, for http / sip. how does this work? There is only 1 entry for the processor affinity still.
Vodia PBX
That setting controls the affinity for the RTP thread only. All other threads can now run on different cores. But because of the internal database locking, the biggest effect is essentially in the TLS processing. And under heavy load, the RTP thread will run on a different core than everything else. hosted
switching cores is automatically done in pbxnsip? can manually set SIP/HTML to core 1. RTP to core 2. TLS to core 3?
Vodia PBX
No, you can only control the core for RTP. Everything else is "automatic". IMHO that makes a lot of sense.
