Vodia PBX Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 You mean it really includes the dashes in the star code?! Then it would be very understandable that this would fail. Quote

YSJ3010 Posted March 4, 2011 Author Report Posted March 4, 2011 what is the actual problem - CDR? or call not being able to pickup? call not being able to pickup with the button on the phone Quote
pbx support Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 In .3981 version, you should be able to pickup the call using BLF button (although there is a lot of folks do not want the BLF button to pickup the call) Quote

YSJ3010 Posted March 9, 2011 Author Report Posted March 9, 2011 i tried 4.2.1.4001 and its still not working Quote
pbx support Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 We retested here and it worked fine. How is your buttons profile setup? We have seen cases where the phone's buttons where not really mapped the way button profile on the PBX is setup in few cases. Try resetting the phone or try on a new extension. Quote
YSJ3010 Posted March 10, 2011 Author Report Posted March 10, 2011 this is how i have it setup Monitoring: Watch the calls of the following extensions (* for all): 101 102 103 Watch the presence of the following extensions (* for all):101 102 103 Quote
pbx support Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 I see, now, this is under Polycom phones section. We tested this using snom phones (that's default phone we assume). We will retest this and let you know. Quote
pbx support Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 Apparently the dialog based BLF (like the Polycoms do) is designed to work only to show the busy or not status. Quote
YSJ3010 Posted April 5, 2011 Author Report Posted April 5, 2011 Please fix it . it used to work Apparently the dialog based BLF (like the Polycoms do) is designed to work only to show the busy or not status. Quote
Vodia PBX Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 Dialog state (http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4235) was never supposed to be used LED on the phone. Companies like snom used it because there was just nothing else available. For example, there is nothing said in the RFC what should happen when someone actually pushes the button, even in the example where they show how a "shared line" system works (shared lines without the possiblity to seize the line). That is why we came up with the "button" package, which solves all problems when it comes to LED buttons on the phone. Quote
