Eric Long
I would like to know if I can pull extension information from Active Directory (Employee name mostly), so that I don't have to maintain two user databases. Has anyone successfully done this?

Jan Boguslawski
I guess the windows powershell / exchange powershell is much easier to use. try this one for example: Open Exchange PowerShell and run (! change itacs to an OU that exist in your Active Directory!): get-user -organizationalunit itacs | fl name, phone, homephone, mobilephone Something similar can be done with the Free PowerShell Commands for Active Directory from Quest (if you dont have ExchangePowershell): http://www.quest.com/activeroles-server/arms.aspx Now I need to find a way to export the results to a .csv that can be used by pbxnsip for an mass-import.... marsbewohner
Are there any news on this? I want to sychronize the adressbook of SnomOne with my AD accounts and add the extension information into it. Is there any way to match the account names and merge the available data, for example extension number from SnomOne -> AD Account, Position from AD -> SnomOne etc.
pbx support
Currently there is no correlation between the 2. If you can export the AD database into CSV, then you can import that to snomONE.
marsbewohner
Ok, I was more looking for some automated process to snyc this, let's see if we can maybe code something on our own. Will there be any improvements related to this in v5?
