Odd registration behaviour?

Hi,

 

On one of our clients sytems we're seeing odd registration behaviour in the nightly summary email - the trunks are set up with the same ITSP as everyone else, and the configuration looks the same as our PBX which doesn't get the problem. Any suggestions on tracking down the source?

Well, thats why we have these reports ;)

 

This problem is usually caused by extensions behind "crappy NAT routers" where the port changes all the time. There is a feature that sends an email to the admin every time the registration changes in the registration tab for the extension, turn it on at least for those who have remote registration and you should see in your inbox which ones make trouble.

Thanks - this client is the only one with a BT Home Hub, we'll get it changed to a decent router.

Turned out the problem wasn't the router at all - it was a Snom 821 phone causing the problem. Replaced with a new one and the graph is now stable.
