metwest
Same issue. Stopped using co lines because of this. A fix would be great. Also if you BLF a hunt group you get the same issue.
Vodia PBX
I just tested that with 5.0.6 and 8.7.4.7 on 720 (sorry for using beta firmware :-P). It worked for me... The phone also needs to cooperate here, maybe there was a bug in the phone. If anybody could upgrade the phone to 8.7.4.7 and test again it would be appreciated. Chappo
The issue has always been around- even previously to version 5. If you press the button again on any phone the co light will go off. I also had some pretty major issues with 8.7.4.7 - The phones which were upgraded over night were not responsive to any incoming calls on the co lines in the morning (BlF not working, not picking any calls up on the virtual blf or didn't register any calls on the call monitor page). Placed a call which came in on line two. Pressing the CO line 1 on one of the non-responsive phones answered the call on the other line. Vodia PBX
Yes, 8.7.4.7 is obviously beta. This cannot be a permanent solution.
hosted
8.7.47 works but dont like using untested firmware. is this the only solution?
Vodia PBX
No but it shows that the phone needs to address this topic.
hosted
ok, so what are the other solutions. I have customers getting upset with me.
Vodia PBX
For 3xx series stay with 8.4.35. That seems to be old, but solid. For the newer models, the only workable solution right now is 8.7.3.19. SLA is obviously bleeding edge for that version.
hosted
8.7.3.19 doesnt work,, so there is no solution right now..
hosted
does anyone have this firmware in production?
Vodia PBX
It remains a difficult topic. Some versions are stable, but lack some important features. Those who have them, are not ready for production.
