Bronko Posted March 16, 2015 Report Posted March 16, 2015 Hello, I'm now on 5.2.5 but only one call is possible in contrast to 5.2.4 and under. The initiation of the second call is forbidden and the pbx logs: System has already 2 calls, rejecting additional 1 calls because of maximum 2 But there is only 1 call! New way to count the calls ;-) or what is the reason why? It's no more possible to make a conference call. Any idea? Quote
Vodia PBX Posted March 16, 2015 Report Posted March 16, 2015 Well the log message itself makes sense. The question is why there are two calls... What do you see on the web interface, e.g. status screen or calls? Is that in line with what you would expect? Maybe there is a dangling call that gives you the trouble. Also did you do any limitations as admin for the domain? Quote
Bronko Posted March 17, 2015 Author Report Posted March 17, 2015 Tanks for your reply! Yes, everything looks like fine to make a second call. Only 1 call under "Currently Active Calls" and with initiation of the 2nd call a second line flashed up for some milliseconds. Dangling calls should be killed by restart the pbx. This is what I have tried at first. The limitations are on default for admin and domain, even 2 calls for free license confirmed by the log entry. Quote
Vodia PBX Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 What OS are you using? I remember there was a glitch in one of the around-5.2.5 versions because we have introduced another call limitation per trunk that could have backfired into the regular call counting. Maybe there is a 5.2.5a available for your OS which behaves differently. Quote
Bronko Posted March 17, 2015 Author Report Posted March 17, 2015 ~$ lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available. Distributor ID: Ubuntu Description: Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS Release: 12.04 Codename: precise ~$ uname -a Linux snomone 3.2.0-76-virtual #111-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jan 13 22:53:20 UTC 2015 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux Btw, same behaviour with a different trunk for the second call. Quote
Vodia PBX Posted March 18, 2015 Report Posted March 18, 2015 It would not depend on the OS itself; it would depend on the build of the PBX. We did not build 5.2.5a for all OS, that is why I was asking... Anyway the versions for Debian32 and 64 are available for 5.2.5a http://vodia.com/downloads/pbx/version-5.2.5a.xml Quote
Bronko Posted March 18, 2015 Author Report Posted March 18, 2015 Ok, thanks a lot, but no changes! Some precisions: (internal: extension to extension, external: over trunk) 1st call internal - 2nd external call failed 1st call external - 2nd external call failed 1st call external - 2nd internal call works! 1st call internal - 2nd internal call works! Means, only if the 2nd call is an internal, it works fine and the try to establish a 3rd call extend the log as expected by: System has already 2 calls, rejecting additional 1 calls because of maximum 2 Port xx: Reject call because of too many calls in domain Quote
Vodia PBX Posted March 19, 2015 Report Posted March 19, 2015 Made a new build, one more try with 5.2.5a http://vodia.com/dow...sion-5.2.5a.xml (for i386 32/64 bit). This build has a new/improved automatic blacklisting feature, hopefully it did not break anything else. Quote
Bronko Posted March 19, 2015 Author Report Posted March 19, 2015 Thanks a lot! Works as it should! Can you describe the issue a little bit deeper? Any documentation for that? new/improved automatic blacklisting feature Quote
Vodia PBX Posted March 21, 2015 Report Posted March 21, 2015 The new algorithm for auto blacklisting is still under development, this was just a hint that you might experience problems in that area. Quote
Bronko Posted March 21, 2015 Author Report Posted March 21, 2015 Ok, but what was the problem in call counting? Quote
