  1. bill, thanks. we just figured out ourself too that we can access a lot. Matt
  2. Using the PAC you can see activity, although it is not the nice list of calls. You can also use XML to get this, but that is programming thing.
  3. hmmm Sounds like a problem. A work around would be to do the 200 entry logic as a seperate application? (using asp or something?) but snom may want to chime in as to why the slowness.
  4. I would verify with patton at support@patton.com.
  5. use snom ONE to provision buttons instead of typing them in the phone itself.
  6. Glad you got going again.
  7. should the below http post be able to send an IM? http://192.168.1.152:8082/ajax.htm?action=sendim&im_dest=101&im_msg=hellow world or am i doing something a little wrong?
  8. so 1 snom phone registered to 511 and 1 snom phone registered to 512? If so, delete extension from snom ONE and add it again and it may fix it. We have had an issue already that *90 stops working and deleting extension and readding fixes it. (actually this method fixes some other problems too) try that.
  9. do you have 2 phone registered to the same extension in snom ONE? if there are 2 registrations on a snom ONE extension, when you make a *90 <ext> call to them it rings normally. Matt
  10. i can see the benefit of having 2 areas. maybe it would be good to have a screen "Trunk Calls Log" and "All Calls Log" ? It also would be so helpful to have a simple filtering on the "all calls log" screen. (by date range, by extension range, etc) what would be a good way to see who dialed the paging unit 2 minutes ago? thanks
  11. okay I figured it out. so others following this can get pointed in the correct direction: #1-login to the pbx #2-then http post this http://192.168.1.152:8082/ajax.htm?action=call_list&domain=localhost&token=whatever (you can just copy this into a browser with your IP and domain name) #3-the pbx will reply with XML containing current calls. Now if you want to do something with an active call: #1-login to the pbx #2-http://192.168.1.152:8082/reg_calls.htm?delete_call=3555 will hangup call with id 3555 (you will get this from above steps) Send an IM: http://192.168.1.152:8082/ajax.htm?action=sendim&im_dest=101&im_msg=hello world For some reason this one does not work for me.
  12. just some feedback: we have a ~200 extension system on .3981. Our onsite tech says directory comes up fine. He was using it on snom300 and snom370. Just feedback and I didn't see it with my own eyes. ;-) Matt
  13. We had a senario this morning that a paging unit (snom Pa1) was playing "a voicemail prompt". Probably some odd user button press error and that is not the reason for this post. What I'm trying to figure out is why paging calls are not in the call log? This was a simple unicast page and now it is quite hard to explain who did this. thanks
  14. i agree that 5secs would not be acceptable. We have a big install...i'll test it there.
  15. i just tested it on a pretty clean 10 extension system...seems fast. how many extensions?
  16. Thanks. Can you post a quick example of the command? or point me to where it is docmuented?
  17. hi, presence: i'm simply looking for what state the phone is in: idle, ringing, on call. simple. Matt
  18. Jag, wow, that is good news. Sounds like it will be a software client as opposed to a web client? Thanks for the update! Matt
  19. Bump. We would like to write a snom ONE "helper" client app for Windows Desktop and windows phone 7. This client will not be a sip client, but but we would like to: -on call/off call -show/set presence -be able to IM -change some key settings: forward/etc -listen to voicemail To get an idea of what I am talking about please take a look at: http://windowspbx.blogspot.com/2010/10/tip-use-polycom-cx300-plantronics-p540.html Jump halfway down the article. Note that the screen shot is a very barbaric (but working) start on this client. The end product will a smooth UI both to use and look at. My previous questions that didn't get answered yet: 1-how do we pull presence info of pbxnsip extensions? (is there a webby/webservice/soap method of doing this?) 2-can soap/CSTA/ be used send/recieve instant message? (or something else?) -We know how to initiate a call -we know how to change account settings thanks
  20. yes, vm, acd, aa would be nice. Once thing about these forum chats--I appreciate them, but I never know what is passing comment like "wahoo!that would be cool" and "that is going on the roadmap". Is there a feature roadmap for snom ONE? (even nda, so we know where we are headed. not looking for blog content here) Once again, thanks for engaging. Matt
  21. Sometimes I see a call to an autoattendend that is too long and it would be nice to listen_in to what is happening to see if users are getting confused or what, or if we need to make the menu clearer. (I want to hear them mutter, what button am i supposed to press anyway? for example) Is this possible some way?
  22. I'd like to say the we are impressed by the thought given to managing a sizable snom ONE phone system: -easily provision phones initially (easiest in industry?) -easily provision special feature changes across a group of deskphones (change little arcane characteristics of phones in minutes) -easily change buttons of big group of phones in less than a minute with no reboot! -Effecient cpu use: HP Proliant server hardly notices 200 registered extensions -system status graphs give excellent "at a glance" insight into what the system is doing for past 24hrs -Email notices of carefully selected events notify without overloading the admin of important events -"Search Accounts" is impressive: quickly pull up any extension/user, attendent or other account. This is slick. -and a lot more... Just wanted to post some feedback to the snom ONE team. (apart from the fog and confusion of day to day stuff!) maybe this will be base for a blogpost... ;-)
  23. Hello, should snom pa1 auto provision? normally if a snom 3xx or 8xx doens't provision automatically we type in the below string: http://<snom one ip>/provisioning/snom360.htm (or 300,320,etc) But the below urls dont work: http://<snom one ip>/provisioning/snomPA1.htm http://<snom one ip>/provisioning/snomPA.htm what is the provisioning url? or doesn't it work yet? truly, provisining them is not hard. tx
