  1. so moishe, the simple answer was no, you do it manually. ;-) but i guess it took several posts to get to gradually concede that point. ;-) its manual, and its slow. ;-) (its a little sad too ;-)
  2. everyone likes there own PSTN gateway. I am partial to Patton. (a box outside pc) snom likes Sangoma. (an internal card) also, most any reputable SIP provider will work. Callcentric is good.
  3. patton support could be replicated by other vendors in my opinion. stellar.
  4. ha. such a carryin on. i finally got .4014 working...and then i was trying to remember...what was I going to test? .4015 does not seem to work yet. also, other than 8xx series scrolling directory...anything else to test? (i know this is top secret, confidential stuff...;-)
  5. at the moment I think it is adhoc? If otherwise i'd be glad to know too.
  6. we could be more effective in testing new fixes/features if we knew what they are. ;-) (this could be the tentative version that would goto below when official release? idea) I know official releases have this, which is great!! http://wiki.snomone.com/index.php?title=Upgrades (i guess it is a running log, not sure?) thanks
  7. .4014 doesn't work. (i notice it is 7mb and working ones are 9M) .4010 works, but feature not there.
  8. jason, i beleive it needs to be compiled for the system. Of course, I'm a fan of windows. ;-)
  9. excellent. on our system the picture does not show on a snom 370. any tricks? (even the sample picture snom has of some guy)
  10. great. i presume its a column you can turn on or off? i'd be glad to review a beta of the new version sometime.
  11. yes, some improvements in this area would be good. Also, how does the admin see what picture (if any) is there? system really should show the picture somehow. picture: It's a good feature--one small nod towards modernity/social enabled in an otherwise somewhat spartan product. ;-)

  13. i notice if another extension calls the 8xx it works right. if 8xx calls out, it doesn't work.
  14. i'm sure it could be done with customization. Your looking for a web gui to move a vm from one ext. to another ext. hmm, trying to think how we would do that... no chance that they could use vm-to-email and forward the email? just an idea.
  15. We are planning to demo snom ONE tomorrow and snom 8xx phones. There is a show stopping problem with 8xx seris: snom 8xx series scrolls through whol addressbook when making an outgoing call. This looks awlful (and is awlful ;-) is there something dumb I'm doing. snom ONE provisioned the phone. I think i'm on latest of snom ONE and snom 8xx fw. options? tx
  16. moishe, my article on gotchas when going from pbxnsip to snom ONE: http://windowspbx.blogspot.com/2011/02/gotchas-to-watch-for-when-migrating.html snom ONE blue will not provision and will limit the amount of non-snom devices but they should register. I think i've registered everything BUT polycom ;-) and they register. -make sure that the device didn't get blocked by the new hacker blocker -remember the non-snom REFER limitation matt
  17. 1.-are you letting snom ONE provision the snom phone? it should do all the majic. Another issue with multicast can be the firewall in the network--it CAN block multicast. 3. phone should not keep ringing if using unicast and you hang up the originiating phone. something is wrong there. is this JUST with 320? (we dont use a lot of them: 300, 360, 370 we use more)
  18. of course. (now you got an answer you like ;-) the pbx whether mac, linux, or mac interfaces with devices just the same. of course i can't speak for snom, but i'm sure Windows client will connect to Mac pbx backend.
  19. i understand it is in the works. (but not the cross platform part. likely just windows from my hearing)
