  1. so moishe, the simple answer was no, you do it manually. ;-) but i guess it took several posts to get to gradually concede that point. ;-)

its manual, and its slow. ;-) (its a little sad too ;-)

  2. yes, some improvements in this area would be good.

Also, how does the admin see what picture (if any) is there?

system really should show the picture somehow.

picture: It's a good feature--one small nod towards modernity/social enabled in an otherwise somewhat spartan product. ;-)

  4. moishe,

my article on gotchas when going from pbxnsip to snom ONE:

    http://windowspbx.blogspot.com/2011/02/gotchas-to-watch-for-when-migrating.html

snom ONE blue will not provision and will limit the amount of non-snom devices but they should register.

I think i've registered everything BUT polycom ;-) and they register.

-make sure that the device didn't get blocked by the new hacker blocker

    -remember the non-snom REFER limitation

  5. 1.-are you letting snom ONE provision the snom phone? it should do all the majic. Another issue with multicast can be the firewall in the network--it CAN block multicast.

    3. phone should not keep ringing if using unicast and you hang up the originiating phone. something is wrong there. is this JUST with 320? (we dont use a lot of them: 300, 360, 370 we use more)

  6. of course. (now you got an answer you like ;-)

the pbx whether mac, linux, or mac interfaces with devices just the same.

of course i can't speak for snom, but i'm sure Windows client will connect to Mac pbx backend.
