How to add 11 Digit DID starting with 9

Hi,

 

I am using Vodia 5.2.6. I am unable to add a DID starting with 9 and having total 11 digits. I've set up country code as 1 and I don't want to change it. I am trying to add a DID linked to Israel "97247423695" to a extension. When I click on save it create as "724-742-3695" and just remove 9 from the DID. Please advise.

I think this issue has been fixed on later versions. You could give the latest one a try which is version 5.4.0 but even 5.3.2a should have it.

I tested its not working on 5.3.2 not on 5.4.0 as well/

You can always enter numbers starting with +, e.g. +972123456 then the PBX will understand that the digits after the + are the country code

If I add a number with + then system doesn't receive call. If I add number with country code then it receive call.

The country code helps the PBX to "translate" numbers into numbers starting with the + (global numbers). That is why we are so pushy to use the country code. Without the country code, in theory you can also get it working but it a lot harder.
