Rameshkumar
Hi, I am using Vodia 60.0. I've a question. Does multicast only working on the LAN? I've 3 offices and each office has 10 Yealink Phone. Configuration is same on each phone. When one office send a multicast page it only can be hear into the same office. Other 2 offices can not hear anything.
Support
As long as all the phones are provisioned to the same PBX and have picked up the paging multicast IP address in their configuration, and are accessible behind NAT or via the IP Routing list configuration, the multicast paging should work. The other office's network should be open for receiving the page on that IP:PORT. This will load your network for sure.
Rameshkumar
You mean we should enable the NAT on each phone?
Support
No, we meant if you have your phones behind a NAT make sure the packets reach to the phones.
Rameshkumar
No phones are not behind NAT.
Rameshkumar
Is it necessary we should have phones behind NAT to work. As phones are not behind NAT in any office but it work in one office.
Support
If they are not, then it's better. Make sure the packets know where to reach. So configure your IP routing accordingly.

Support
Hi,  This is the document for configuring the routing. Look for "routing" on this page and for any other questions you can go through the rest of this document. https://vodia.com/doc/admin_sip_and_audio
Rameshkumar
Okay I was IP routing List but honestly didn't get concept. The multicast IP is 224.1.2.111:4000 and PBX IP is 216.25.18.116. What and how I need to add things in routing.

Vodia PBX
Multicast is a special way to transport messages in the Internet. In the LAN this is mapped to a broad cast, but if you want to send messages out into different segments you need to program your router accordingly. Hint: This is not trivial. But there is plenty information about multicast in the Internet that can help you getting this done.
