App rings even though I am alread on a call

I have received a call on my mobile direct.

A call comes in via the PBX app, it still rings, this is very annoying and I have to be rude and stop my conversation to look at the phone to stop the call ringing.

How do I set so that does not.

Can I turn off call waiting in the app ?

Just like any other Phone app, if call waiting is on, then the call should go through.

Turn off call waiting from the PBX.

I'm not sure how call waiting will have any impact, how would the app know you are on a mobile call, or the mobile know you are on an app call?

Android does not have anything like CallKit in iOS that controls calls between apps. It would be wise for the Android team to come up with something that will make it easier for the app programmers to improve the experience... Anyhow, in the meantime we are trying to figure out how to handle this better.
