RichardDCG
Will there be any more work done on the current production version V68? V69 is being pushed and a bit of work being done there, but it is not a production option yet. A big item still missing in V68 is service flag management. IOS can set and unset them, as can desk phones, but not the Windows or Android apps.
Vodia PBX
The latest Android app now should have an option for managing the service flags, however it does that only for manual service flags (changing automatic service flags is not supported by the 68 API). And it does not automatically update the state, you would have to refresh it. That's a glitch we'll address in the next app version.
RichardDCG
will the Windows app get an option as well? Like it has in V69?
RichardDCG
managing service flags (night switching) is a frequently used practice. You can manage in V69. Can it be used in V68 while we wait for V69 to be ready?
RichardDCG
are there any updates in the pipeline for V68? If so can service flag management from the windows app be one of them?

Also the Windows app. Managing service flags is becoming a real issue for us.
Brandywine
have you tried using the app to just call the service flags from the registered extension . open your Vodia app and call the SF to activate and de activate , arduous i know if you have may to manage but a good interim solution waiting for V69 improvements . Not ATM. In the mobile apps, users can change service flags.
RichardDCG
Is it too difficult to add? The iPhone app is ok, the android not so much. The Windows desktop app is pretty popular for a number of our tenants.
Vodia PBX
Just changing the service flag would be relatively was (that's what the iOS app does). Monitoring with live updates is another story.
RichardDCG
Is service flag management able to be ported to V68? V69 seems to have it, but we are not in a position to move to 69 for the immediate future. Apps are being used quite frequently and setting/unsetting a night switch is a pretty basic function to expect ...
RichardDCG
What does this mean? What user front end? ... I can obviously dial the SF, but we could always do that.

If I remember correctly, there was a new HTML code added that allows you to set the state of the service flag. The service flag needs to be in manual mode, maybe that is why you don't see it? I have both manual and auto service flags on V68.0.30 and can see none in the windows app.
