BLF with Snom 820's virtual keys

While they work using the type BUTTON they're not really usable and certainly not as user friendly as the "native" BLF. When pbxnsip sets them up they only show PBX On or Off. The "native" way shows the extension number (or short text) and color coded state (talking, ringing...). It's a little confusing having 10 virtual buttons all either on or off. Any work around or fixes?

pbxnsip 3.4.0.3201 (Darwin) and Snom 8.2.11

I think snom missed a trick with buttons on virtual keys in the initial offering. You might wanna try latest beta 8.2.21 from:

I found this interesting in Release Notes for 8.2.21:

GUI

•Virtual key state now correctly colors keys defined as buttons (activity and pickup color) (snom820). (SCPP-804)
