MeZelf Posted December 9, 2009 Report Posted December 9, 2009 For internal training of new staff on VoIP we have set up an temp. PBX. Calls should last for 3 minutes max with the demo key, which isn't a problem. But calls are currently getting cut off after just 25-28 seconds. Is there a setting that I am overlooking or is this build in the key that I received? On the PBX the following shows in the log: [5] 2009/12/09 09:14:03: Maximum call duration on 65c4-2e59-2693-0541#41f75cbea3 [5] 2009/12/09 09:14:03: Maximum call duration on 701a1b03@pbx#42754 [5] 2009/12/09 09:14:03: Call 701a1b03@pbx#42754: Last request not finished [5] 2009/12/09 09:16:10: Maximum call duration on 4f2e-018f-4dae-13d8#64e7f8c70f [5] 2009/12/09 09:16:10: Maximum call duration on 38c3d4a6@pbx#2699 [5] 2009/12/09 09:16:10: Call 38c3d4a6@pbx#2699: Last request not finished [5] 2009/12/09 09:16:53: Maximum call duration on 56f7-3b09-15ca-2a10#26c9044c0c [5] 2009/12/09 09:16:53: Maximum call duration on 3bba5641@pbx#55028 [5] 2009/12/09 09:16:53: Call 3bba5641@pbx#55028: Last request not finished [5] 2009/12/09 09:16:58: INVITE Response 487 Request Terminated: Terminate 5ea2c773@pbx [2] 2009/12/09 09:25:08: WAV: File audio_moh/moh3.wav has 2 channels (should be 1) [2] 2009/12/09 09:25:08: WAV: File audio_moh/moh3.wav has a sampling rate of 44100 (should be 8000) [5] 2009/12/09 09:25:32: Maximum call duration on 3389-0984-24c4-19f1#bc73176b92 [5] 2009/12/09 09:25:32: Maximum call duration on ff51c4d2@pbx#52367 [5] 2009/12/09 09:25:32: Call ff51c4d2@pbx#52367: Last request not finished [5] 2009/12/09 09:27:28: BYE Response: Terminate a9bbb4e5@pbx [5] 2009/12/09 09:42:32: Dictionary: Item reg_edit_domain.htm credit en not found [5] 2009/12/09 09:46:04: Maximum call duration on 5493-3db7-1804-4379#6e453652f0 [5] 2009/12/09 09:46:04: Maximum call duration on 979c73eb@pbx#47406 [5] 2009/12/09 09:46:04: Call 979c73eb@pbx#47406: Last request not finished Quote
mattlandis Posted December 9, 2009 Report Posted December 9, 2009 hello, old keys 3 minutes, The new keys are 30 secs. I think this is a little short even for testing... thats my feedback matt Quote
Vodia PBX Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 old keys 3 minutes, The new keys are 30 secs. That must be a joke from of the sales guys. Probably they think there are people operating the PBX with a 3-minute call limitation. Quote
jag Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 Make the joke end. ;-) Matt We will look at changing it, however in the mean time there are several other options you can do here: 1. You can request full demo keys with a time bomb which give you all features of the PBX, no restrictions, just email your sales contact at pbxnsip or email the following: USA Sales - sales@pbxnsip.com European Sales - eusales@pbxnsip.com This allows you to deploy with no restrictions and allows the entire system to be created ready for live. 2. Resellers should have an NFR license for testing, if you don't, contact your sales contact at pbxnsip (same email addresses as above) It is all part of the sales cycle - keep in contact with your accounts manager or sales contact and we all benefit from more sales, better features and happy customers. BTW... people do operate with 3 minute keys, we have found many in the past (yes, I didn't believe it until I was shown several in live environments, however resellers in some countries lose out due to this behaviour). Consider the average call lasts under 2 minutes, especially in some contact centers, there have been many times where some resellers have lost out, both from a sales, support and customer point of view. Coming from a sales point of view (and all resellers should be sale orientated) how would you know if any of your customers were ready to buy the PBX, your service or support if they have a 3 minute key and don't communicate with you OR us. If you offer an unlocked demo key which is on a time bomb, you can guide the customer to a sale, as they will be in full communication. Thanks Jonathan Quote
Vodia PBX Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 Well, the other simple thing could be that it is illegal to use the demo key in operational environments (in those countries that respect intellectual property)... Quote
