SFX Group Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 I have this installed on Windows server 2008, works fine, max backup size is 500Mb, however when i start to backup the system, it times out then when checking the server (Windows 2008) the program has crashed, restarting the service works. however i cant complete a backup. I record every call (however this should be managed as i have the 500Mb limit set).... ideas??? Quote
Vodia support Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 The best way to back up your snomONE or pbxnsip directory is to copy the whole working directory, The backup does not well with windows it has to be done manually. Quote
SFX Group Posted February 11, 2012 Author Report Posted February 11, 2012 Thanks.... I need to import this to a Linux install, how would i do this? (i assume the backup for Linux version works?) I am moving the whole install from a Windows install over to Ubuntu (which is Debian), i have it installed and working just need to get the working stuff over to it.... Quote
Vodia PBX Posted February 12, 2012 Report Posted February 12, 2012 You can just copy the whole directory; the only thing you need to change is the executable (well Windows executables obviously dont work in Linux). If you have a MAC-based license, you might have to get a new license. For activation-based licenses it should be okay to re-activate the code. Quote
SFX Group Posted February 13, 2012 Author Report Posted February 13, 2012 Thanks, that seemed to work (excluding the program itself), not tested it, but appears to have taken all the details. Quote
