Trunk registration duration - info

I setup a trunk with proposed registration duration 360, but I'm not sure how it works


PBX contact the provider and it proposes a duration. Is it possible for the trunk to tell the pbx to obey anonther duration?


I'm asking this because the trunk I setup with duration 360 appears in the trunk page with refresh interval 1746

SIP says that the PBX may propose a value, but what counts is the value of the service provider.


Because that can cause problems in NAT environments, the trunk has a settings that may override the response. That's the "Keep alive" field Mr X mentioned. If you put a number there, that's the number of seconds the PBX will wait before refreshing the registration no matter what has been set from the service provider.
