we are having trouble applying the 8.7.3.10 firmware to our Snom 760 phones (currently fw8.7.2.9). When logging onto the phone web and entering the URL as per http://wiki.snom.com/Firmware/V8/760 the phone goes though the process to download and reboot showing the new f/ware then seems to download its current version 2.9 and apply that....

also it would be great if someone can explain how to roll out the update to all the phones automaticaly!

many thanks

If you use PnP with the PBX, the PBX provisions the firmware link. You can set it in the PBX admin mode under settings/pnp. Just copy the link there and reboot the phone. If you want to remotely reboot (registered) phones, you can do that from the domain account list, at the bottom there is a item to reboot the selected phones.

I am running the 4.5.0.1090 Epsilon Geminids (Win32) version on a test box (trying to PnP 720s) when I go to http://192.168.0.78/reg_pnpparm.htm there are no options there to update the firmware. Am I looking in the right place?

Couple of things -

Sometimes, a reset(instead of a reboot) of the phone would help clear everything out and thereby making this process easier.
