malformed invitation for conferences since 5.3.3

Since v.5.2.3a the email that is sent to the participants of a scheduled conference is malformed and is not recognized as a calendar event by any mail client I've tried (mac mail, gmail, thunderbird). If I save the attachment adding an ics extension it opens fine and I see all the details of the calendar event just fine. Here is the source of such an email:

I can confirm the issue (v 5.2.4). Please fix it in the next release.
