ahennis@voicespring.net
I have the Vodia click to dial Chrome extension installed but it is not dialing. Running Win 10, Chrome Version 46.0.2490.71 m, Vodia PBX 5.2.5, Snom 720, Snom D715, Snom 715, Snom 320, Snom 300. Regards, Alan
Vodia PBX
If you "Inspect the element" (right mouse click on the number) you should find something like "makecall.htm?destnumber=...". Is that number looking okay? Also you need version 5.3.0 on your server as we have introduced a safer way for those links.
Cld007
Is it possible to configure the extension to identify number formats for other countries?
Vodia PBX
Telephone numbers come in all sorts of formats unfortunately. We do need to work on more patterns, especially non-US formats can be challenging. For example if you have a mathematical web site with Pi on it, you probably will think that the PBX can dial that number...
ahennis@voicespring.net
Ha Ha. PI to 10 digits is a legitimate TN in NANPA land. 3.141592653 = (314) 159-2653.
Vodia PBX
Oh I would love to have that number. How about e? (271) 828-1828 maybe someone can call that number.
ahennis@voicespring.net
Area code 271 is currently unassigned. I have the Chrome extension working on Vodia PBX 5.2.0 but it seems to stop working after a while. It will be a while before we upgrade. I have 5 different Snom phones registered to my extension so that might have something to do with it. It would be nice if you could tell the system which phone to use if you have more than 1 phone registered to an extension. Vodia Telephone System
Right now it can recognize a number starting with + and any number in the format (xxx) xxx-xxxx. Later we would like more but what should be the formula to avoid other non-telephone numbers becoming links.
Cld007
II wouldn't worry too much if it detect a normal number as a phone number- the user just simply doesn't click on it. These formats would be good to have added if possible please- xx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxx xxx xxxxxxxxxx
