  1. Microsoft Exchange server uses 5060 for its unified communications, run a local port scan to see that has this port on while the SNOM service isnt running.
  2. Hi, I did an upgrade to the latest fm on a SNOM 360 to 8.3.7.3, slowed the phone down (had 0Mb free), rolled it back to v8.4.35 then i upgraded SNOM to the latest, now i have no soft buttons on the phones, all 4 buttons dont show and just says "snom.com". This is fine, however i cant access any missed calls or call history, i have to log in to the phone from a webpage. Did SNOM break this feature?
  3. your have the same problem with any version of WIndows thats not server (XP, Vista, 7) they all limit the TCP connection (7 is 20, XP is 15).
  4. i fixed this, was the "trusted MAC address" setting, needs to be set to "Trust MAC addresses for PnP:" and Write PnP to file (not to log).
  5. what version of windows is this?
  6. Hi, thanks for the port range issue, in another thread i had a probem with the HUNT GROUP which was the same problem here (HUNT GROUP problem), however it was said it appears to be RTP port problem. I extended the range (was 10001-10005, now 10001-10020), added them to the WIndows firewall and restarted the SNOM service, this seems to have fixed the issue. This could have been a nightmare, i have extend more ports..When i move this to Ubuntu or server 2008R2 it will be easier to manage (from a firewall point of view). I will post back if i see other issues. The phone is almost deployed now it tested ok.
  7. Hi Ive extended the ports from 10001-10005 to 10001-10020 (the range of 10001> is used by the VOIP.MS service we have). Restarted the SNOM ONE service, turned off Windows firewall (for testing) this seems to have fixed the problem. I then added these ports to Windows firewall, turned on WIndows firewall and its still working. Looks like problem fixed, wil update in a week to make sure its still ok. Many Thanks
  8. How is this fixed? SNOM ONE is on server 2008 with a local firewall running, i can turn the firewall off however what do i need to change to sllow more ports?
  9. I had another thread on this (Extenstion not ring like DND, however i have confirmed it being the HUNT GROUP not the phone When i add a phone (can be random) to a hunt group, i get the below error in the PBX log on an extenstion that doesnt ring. Warning: 304 x-snom-adr "No supported media type found" However if i call this phone internally from another extension works fine, if i put this extension as the default in the trunk it works fine, add this extension to the hunt group and it doesn't work... TRUNK > 72 (hunt group for 21, 41, 42 15 seconds then 821). 42 never rings (its been reset, TFTP, gets provisioned perfectly) TRUNK > 42 works fine 21 >42 works fine Playing with the hunt group showed some odd stuff, i have SNOM ONE FREE, i have 2 hunt groups, both do the same thing!
  10. UPDATE >> Turns out it appears to be SNOM ONE and not the phone....!!! << I downloaded the new firmware (8.7.3.7 which has taken the anolog clock off but will start another thread on that), submitted a reset from the webpage, it reset, it then updated to the new firmware (as i had the link in PnP in SNOM ONE), it provisioned by design, it still didnt work. I can make calls from 21 to 42 (42 was the "suspect" phone), i can put 42 in to the trunk and calls come in to 42 as designed. I have the HUNT Group, its ONLY the hunt group that doesnt route the call to the phone so whats wrong with the hunt group? Ive tried another Hunt group and that doesnt work either!!!!
  11. Factory reset being TFTP? If so i'll try factory with v8 firmware then.
  12. Thanks for spotting that, however this phone is configured by Provisioning, so how do i change that? Both phones RTP page on the Identity are identical...!
  13. I have the trace logs, i reset all logs so only this call shows up... PBX = 192.168.1.63 21 = 192.168.1.112 (Ashley Office) - working extension, no problems i can see 42 = 192.168.1.113 (Lounge) - rings on internal calls, nothing on external (as wih this test) 72 = Hunt group, 21, 41, 42 for 15 seconds then 821 as last extension External trunk > 72 (hunt group, 21, 41, 42 for 15 seconds then 821) Extension 21 rang as normal Extenstion 42 showed flashing BLF (as 21 does) however doesnt ring and when picking up doesnt connect the call. Does the same when calling huntgroup 72 Works fine if i call the extenstion directly from another phone. Extenstion 21 was bought new Extenstion 42 was second hand and needed TFTP to clear all details including passwords. LOG PBX Log
  14. I'll reset all logs (PBX, working extenstion and bad extension) then call in and send all 3 logs.
  15. Hi I have 2 Snom 360, both Auto config, i can call one to the other no problems, however if i put x21 = Snom 360 (fw = 8.4.35) x42 = Snom 360 (fw = 8.4.35) Call one to the other no problems, however put a trunk to call extension directly (21) no problem, do it for 42 and it acts like DND is on (when its not). Put both extensions in a hunt group, 42 acts like DND is on, again call extenstion from any other and its fine.... This perticular phone was bought used, however we TFTP the firmware so it was wiped completely, as a check if i press DND on x42, it shows in the Accounts as DND "yes" so thats working, why will this extension not accept external calls?
  16. Hi I have 1 trunk, it forwards to extension 72. 72 is a hunt group with 21 41 42 for 20 seconds then 821 as final. At random if i change the above extension around, phones don’t ring in the group, resulting in calls going straight to 821 with a message recorded. I am sure this worked fine before upgrading to 2011-4.5.0.1016 (Windows 64 bit). I can call all extensions with no problems from all phones and they ring as they should. however with an external call 1 phone might ring, the other might show the message light flashing, however if i pick up this call it doesn’t connect. Seems like SNOM isn’t routing the SIP to all phones, just sending the "message flahs" message, however i can only pick the call up on the phone that actually rings. Depending if i change the extension on the hunt group will depend IF a phone will ring, sometimes just putting 1 extension in there will result it jumping to the last one (821).... ideas???
  17. Hi the path "generated\<domain.\<extenstion> is not being created when i "edit" an extention, the setting: admin > settings > PnP > Write PnP generated files is set to YES This is creating problems with Auto Provisioning.....
  18. Same problem here..... my log file in SNOM ONE says: Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 192.168.1.113:2048;rport=2048 From: <sip:MAC%3a000413293180@network.ashleygriffin>;tag=697073551 To: <sip:MAC%3a000413293180@network.ashleygriffin>;tag=13f3370292 Call-ID: 326814955@192.168.1.113 CSeq: 1 SUBSCRIBE Expires: 0 Content-Length: 0 This all looks correct, i have the above MAC bound to an account, however the phone is never getting the account details, why not? The Settings URL in the phone is "http://server:8080/prov/snom360.htm" if i type this in to a browser i get an XML file, this sort of agrees with the above SIP log file, however why is SNOM ONE not giving out the account details to the phone? Listen to sip.mcast.net:* is already enabled SNOM ONE = 2011-4.5.0.1016 Alpha Monocerotids (Win64) SNOM 360 = 7.3.30
  19. has anyone used callentric from Canada, whats the quality like?
  20. Hi What voip provider is good, i am using VOIP.MS, however they dont seem to be able to route voice calls to SNOM anymore, used to work for about 6 months, now it doesnt (its not a setup issue). The line is VERY clear when its working, i can always make calls however now you get a "beep, beep, beep" like theres no number on the line when calling it. Any suggestions of a nice provider i can use (not using Ring Central either, to expensive and doesnt work with real SIP).
  21. thanks, have emailed there, they seem to have 2 plans, one for incomming the other outgoing.

  23. Thanks, that seemed to work (excluding the program itself), not tested it, but appears to have taken all the details.
  24. Thanks.... I need to import this to a Linux install, how would i do this? (i assume the backup for Linux version works?) I am moving the whole install from a Windows install over to Ubuntu (which is Debian), i have it installed and working just need to get the working stuff over to it....
  25. I have this installed on Windows server 2008, works fine, max backup size is 500Mb, however when i start to backup the system, it times out then when checking the server (Windows 2008) the program has crashed, restarting the service works. however i cant complete a backup. I record every call (however this should be managed as i have the 500Mb limit set).... ideas???
