Nice I actually hired a programmer to start writing an application like this for me, except he is wring it to work on windows, linux and Mac.
  8. Meaning, set the snom phone to send the CID as an action URL when an incoming call comes in?
  9. The CSTA http://www.pbxnsipsupport.com/index.php?_m...kbarticleid=385 only can place calls, this client is looking at receiving calls, can TAPI be detect incoming calls or a complete soft phone is needed?
  10. I have a client that wants me to create them a screen pop pulling customer information from their industry specific CRM application, based on the caller ID. Where do I get started, anyone? I can easily pull the info from their CRM, as it is SQL based, how do I get the PBX to send the caller ID when the call comes in?
  11. You need to download Beta firmware to your PC, not directly from your phone.
  12. Yes MS SQL also requires a login, unless you are using an ODBC, which stores the login. It should not be difficult to configure a data source, similar to the way any website stores a data source. <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2000/2005 <add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Server=(local);Database=PBXnSIP;uid=;pwd=;" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" /> If you can't do this, then we will need to create a simple webpage to capture your soap traffic, and store in a SQL database.
  13. argosoft, is simple and cheap, a little more advanced is smarter tools mail servers. Why don't they use their exchange server? or whatever they use to send their other emails?
  14. I agree MS SQL would be the best option, once we have it in SQL, we can do what ever we need to. Email2db is not ideal I did try it a while back.
  15. I my case the DNS and DHCP servers are usually windows servers, however it can be done with Linux too. If the internal and external domain names are the same then yes, otherwise, I just add a zone on the internal DNS server. I sometimes register a new domain name just for the VOIP.
  16. I have it working, even for customers without SRV, internal DNS server has .my.pbx.com pointing to 192.168.0.10, public DNS server has same name pointing to public IP.
  17. All the button is displaying is Off, it may be good for a monitor extension, off and on, however for a speed dial, it would be nice to be able to put a name of who it is to call.
  18. Where in PBXnSIP do I put the labels, I onle have name, type and value, name I put the button number ex. 1, type speed dial, value 5555551212. Where can I put text call Mommy.
  19. How do I set a dial plan for SIP URI, I want sip uri routed directly to its destination, rather than forward to the ITSP.
  20. When I create buttons for virtual keys for the Snom 870, the button short text on the phone shows Off, is there any way to name the button. Also any way to create a button for a action URL? 4.0.0.3217 (Win32)
  21. Is localhost 1 word? or local host 2 words?
  22. I use Zyxel and Fortinet. You can try different firmware versions with the Sonic, also review the logs to make sure nothing is being blocked, try playing with the sip ALG settings too, turning it on and off.
  23. I know there are some firmware versions that just won't work, you would need to upgrade or downgrade, I avoid the sonicwalls alltogether.
  24. Do the manual upgrade, I had this issue in the past with some versions, download the upgrade exe, and rename it.
