There are two ways to record a call.
1) One is automatic recording which you can turn on, on the Domain General settings. These recording are saved under Domain > Features > Recorded Calls.
2) Second is the Star code recording, which you can record on the fly using the *93 code and end it with *94 and it will record only the part of the call you intend to record. Please turn on "Play a message before start recording" setting on the Domain > General settings page if you wish to hear the prompt before the call being recorded. These recordings you can find under User's (The one who started the recording) Mailbox settings.Steps to follow:-
1) Upgrade to the latest 58.3 version. With the latest 58.3 you can use the "emergency" login http://<pbx_ip:port>/rawlogin.htm if you are unable to login.
2) IF you turn on the " Recording default for this domain " option on the domain settings then the call is being recorded automatically. And if you press *94 when you want to the stop the recording on this call, it will stop. You can see those recordings in the /usr/local/pbx/recordings/<Current_date>/ folder (if you are unable to play it on the GUI, which we are trying to fix right now).
3) IF " Recording default for this domain " option on the domain settings is off, then you can simply press *93 and *94 FROM the recording extension and you can find those recordings on the GUI in mailbox (but it might not play), but you can find them in /usr/local/pbx/recordings folder.
4) If you want to shut off and turn on the recording in the same call, you can also do that with the star codes (and not with the automatic recording option) and it will generate two files in the /usr/local/pbx/recordings folder.5) Sort your folders contents with recent most at the end so have a faster access.
P.S:- Please be on the latest 58.3 for trying this out. -
Salut,

Hi,
The settings that Bria has on it's ends can't be associated with the PBX as such. PBX has it's own settings that can be replicated if you use the extension from its user portal.
The settings on softphone are independent of which service they are associated with. And the IM service that you referring to, you can find that on the user portal as well and it will be functional if the other user is also on the same user portal.

Hi,
Please upgrade to the latest 58.3 and let us know.

Hi,
If you login as a user, those fields won't be there.

Hi,
Can you post the log-file on here and make a test call?
set the logging as follow.
Log other messages: Yes
Log IVR events: Yes
Log LDAP Events:Yes
Set the Level to 9
You can also get us the logs from the GXP phone if you can as those might be little more detailed.

Hi,
Which phone and model are you testing this on except snom 320?
-
Hi,
Did you try assigning 5 different buttons (there have to be 5 buttons as it can't be crammed up in 1 as the PBX has to know which agent is logging in/out from which AG) with different agent group and give it a go? It's still a little tricky for the buttons to know which extension belongs to which extensions. We might have to improvise.

Hi,
Please log out as an Admin and log back in as a user. Admin has all the permissions and hence the visibility.
-
Hi,
Could you please try this and let us know:-
On the trunk settings you set "Yes" under "Inter-Office Trunk --> Trunk may terminate calls for remote systems" and then set the dial plan to "Dial plan for outbound calls"
-
Hi,
Yes we are looking into changing the buttons on the user portal and we will update this thread as soon as possible.
-
Hi,
I believe Admin was asking if you had made any changes to the ringtone.xml file? Please upgrade to the latest version which is 58.3. As many functionalities have changed ever since 5.4 release.
-
Hi,
Can you try with this: include the string (^#{2}[0-9]*)@.* as pattern and sip:\1@\r;user=phone as the replacement.
-
Hi,
Go to Domain > Extension (which pressed the recording star code) > Mailbox. And there you should find it.
-
Hi,It works. It's just that the manual recording doesn't prompt you that the call is being recorded. You can find all those recording under the mailbox settings.
-
Hi,
You would just have to click on "create" new domain and place your tar file there and give name and other details as you wish and your domain shall be created.
-
Hi,
Can you make sure that there are no changes made to the templates for the snom 320s on the domain or extension levels for them to not work. If not, then you can give us a call on +1-617-446-1399.
-
Hi,
If the firmware isn't the same one, then please upgrade one of the Snom 320's and give it a try. If not, please give us a call. The HTTP password set is just a caution, you can turn that off from the phone's GUI.
-
Hi,
I think you meant version 57.3. If so, please upgrade to 58.1 and please try again. If it still doesn't, let us know.

Hi,
The physical phone and the User portal working on WebRTC are two separate entities. We aren't in control of the phones firmware and hence this merger would not be possible. Apologies
-
Hi,
Yes, to not heavily load the PBX with an enumerate search, the search bar looks for all the major settings on each domain and admin level. Adding a feature (not available in previous versions) along with keeping it light was the motive.
And, CSV addition back in the new version is being looked into.
Stay tuned.

Hi,
We finally got the grip of it, as this is something not been used over the years.
So steps to setup a Pickup Group on your PBX:-
1) Go to the extension which you would like to be the one who can pick up any other extensions calls (Pick up group being created here). Add all the extensions which it would like to pick up the calls of as shown in image 1.
2) Add a button on the ext. (you are picking up the calls FROM / ON) for the pick up group as shown in the image 2.
3) Re-provision the phone and you are all set.

Hi,
Please try to get the firmware of the snom to 8.7.3.25 and then try again.

Hi,
Oh that's a keen test of the web GUI. Well, we have fixed that on the new interface 58.0. Please let us know if you could upgrade and test it out.

We have been getting a lot of requests for the recordings lately, so i took this opportunity to divulge all the information and steps we have for everyone trying one or the other thing with it.
To answer your question,
Yes, like i mentioned in the first point, automatic recording can be turned off using *94 and that setting will stay only for one call on that extension.
