Vernon
Hello, Was wondering if you could provide any insights on how to resolve no audio on calls made via the user portal. I tried following all the necessary steps, i have a domain certificate, using chrome, and i have logged in via HTTPS. I'm able to make the call go out and i'm able to put the call on hold with the MoH kicking in, but no audio between users. Currently using v59.8 on Windows. Any insights would be helpful, thank you. Support
Hi, Please go through this link to gain more perspective of how this can be resolved: https://vodia.com/doc/onewayaudio Plus, also check your firewall if any of the RTP ports are being blocked which are causing this issue. Vernon
Thank you for your response, I'm familiar with how to resolve one way audio issues between devices. Most notorious ones are with SIP ALG, double NAT's, and firewalls. However this is a test server with no firewall rules or any complicated setups. I'm assuming though when the call is made via the user portal the RTP range that's used is the one under SIP -> Audio? I've never used WebRTC before so i'm not particularly familiar with how to troubleshoot it.
Support
If it's a test system with no firewall whatsoever, then only other thing that can matter is you not having the webRTC license on your test system. Does your license have "WebRTC support" written on it? You can see that on the /reg_status.htm page
Vernon
Definitely has the webRTC support under the status. Quick question, the domain certificate i'm using is for all domains for example *.domain.com. Should i instead just get a temporary one specifically suited for my test domain? Support
You can try that as well.
Vodia PBX
If you need a certificate try to move to 60.2, there you can just use letsencrypt to generate one for you free of charge.
gotap
Been working like a charm but yesterday webRTC stopped working, no changes at all to our firewall etc
Vodia PBX
The browsers moved from 32-bit hashes to 80 bit which caught us off guard. We have made builds for 62.0.2 CentOS64/Debian64 and 57.3.11/CentOS64 so far which fix the problem.
chrispopp
What about the Windows version?
