Lyndon
I'm trying to limit which extensions are displayed in the app, and have read in the v66 release notes that the department field was added for this purpose - to limit the number of the extensions to the same department. So I've added two extensions to the same department, but on the app for one of those extensions, extentions not belonging to that department are still displayed. Am I don't something wrong? Thanks
Lyndon
For anyone else trying to do the same, I found this setting which enforces this: At System Level, go to: Phones > Settings > Apps > Extensions to show Options are: All / Same Department / Same Building
Vodia PBX
... and that is just the beginning. Vodia is working on a even better way to control this. This will be available in a few weeks.

Enzo Matrix
All I need to do is hide system extensions (Fax, mailbox only) from the app views. I don't want users to see the Fax extension for example in their extensions list.
Vodia PBX
Its included in the latest build for 67.1. It is good for trying out the FAX topic, but there are a few other topics in that build that require attention before we can release it. RichardDCG
Couple of additions to this. 1. Is it possible to do this per tenant and not globally? Some tenants may want to see all extensions, others view only buildings or others departments etc. 2. Is there a 'supervisor' style role that can view multiple buildings/departments? Vodia PBX
The overall concept (groups) is out now. There is a group permission "ui" that can be used for this purpose. This has tenant scope, there is not even the possibility for a global scope.

I made an extension a group member and then set the scope to specific accounts. I can still see all extensions. Ideally, I would like to filter extension viewing at a per tenant or per extension level. i.e. have managers view all departments, in all sites but restrict others to their site or department. Vodia PBX
Right now this is available in the PC-based and web-based apps. There you should see the groups on the left side and you can toggle between them.
