When a user logs in tohis extension level to the PBX, and he clicks on browse button and uploads an image, but latter decides he wants to remove it, how would he do it?

just deleting the file from the recordings folder (which is odd that it put it there) leaves a big blank box with the small red x in it

Hmm.. bit of admin work may be needed here. Need to clear out the "picture" tag from the users extension (the xml file under the 'extensions' folder for that user).

yes, some improvements in this area would be good.

Also, how does the admin see what picture (if any) is there?

system really should show the picture somehow.

picture: It's a good feature--one small nod towards modernity/social enabled in an otherwise somewhat spartan product. ;-)

on our system the picture does not show on a snom 370. any tricks?

(even the sample picture snom has of some guy)

For snom 370, make sure the color depth of the picture is 5-bit (i.e. 32 colors; preferably grey scale for better results and less loss of detail), otherwise it will not work. I attached a test picture that should work.
