Jime
Afternoon I have been running PBXnSIP for a while now without any problems. This morning after a the server Rebooted, the PBXnSIP PBX Service wont start. I have checked the rights ans so on without any luck. Running version 3.0.0.2998. Can any body please point me in the right derection to resolve this ? I am running into the same issue today after installing MS updates on my Server 2003 installation. Prior to this it has been working fine. I tried updating to a more recent version of pbxctrl.exe but get the same symptom. Windows error log: The pbxnsip PBX service failed to start due to the following error: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion. Any thoughts? mattlandis
is there anything running on the ports that pbxnsip needs to use? (web server, etc) Matt
jlumby
I have had issues with the older versions starting if they got clogged up with CDR records. I adjusted the variable down to only keep them for 2d instead of the default of 30d and I have never had any issues since. The down side is once the system is clogged up, I am not sure if you can just delete them (I think I turned it down to 2d with no success). I love a perfectly clean server, so I ended up formatting/rebuilding from scratch, and the CDRs have been kept in check ever since
Vodia PBX
The down side is once the system is clogged up, I am not sure if you can just delete them (I think I turned it down to 2d with no success). You can as well just move the CDR directories to another location and then restart the service (should be very quick then).
johnlaurenz792
I moved the CDR's I changed LDAP Port to 8389 I even changed the HTTP Port to 8080 / 8081 etc and no dice I reboot the box, the service is not started automatically I tried setting it to "Delayed Start" and nada If I try starting it manually it fails twice, the 3rd time it works
