DND problem

Hi

snomONE 4.5.0.1090 on Win 64 with snom 720 phones running 8.7.3.7

Setting DND with *78/*79 works as expected

Setting DND as one of the 18 Programmable keys works as expected (Sends *78/*79 as DND on/DND off)

Setting DND using the DND key on the phone has no effect at all.

Is there a way to make the DND key provided on the phone work ? A correctly crafted Action URL perhaps, similar to the one that lives behind the "Menu" key

Upgrading the phone to 8.7.3.10 has no effect.

Thanks

Seems to work fine on the 720 here, running SIP 8.7.3.10

Setting DND with *78/*79 works as expected - Works here too.

Setting DND as one of the 18 Programmable keys works as expected (Sends *78/*79 as DND on/DND off) - Did not test it here.

Setting DND using the DND key on the phone has no effect at all - Works fine here.

Can you log into the phone's web interface and check the function key mappings?

Well, here you go.

Just to reiterate.

These results are from a test system on a Win 32 Platform, 4.5.0.1090, DEFAULT configuration, apart from DND being assigned to Key 6 in the snom 300 PNP page (admin/settings/pnp) and DND being assigned to key 1 in the Button assignements for the 320 and the 720

1x snom 720 phone, 1x snom 320 phone and 1x snom 300 phone, all running 8.3.7.10 firmware

Same results have been observed in the field with 4.5.0.1090 on Win 64 on more than one site with 720 phones using 8.3.7.3

Dial *78/*79, DND works as expected, shows DND symbol against the account (domain/accounts)

Use the preconfigured DND keys on the phones, DND feature does not work (calls are not diverted to v-mail etc), no DND symbol shows against the account (domain/accounts)

Assign DND feature to any flexible key on the 320/720 phones and DND works as expected, DND symbol shows against the account (domain/accounts)

The snom 300 is a somewhat special case compared to the 320/370. The snom_300_fkeys.xml contains a setting for the DND key, you might have to take it out in the template. Then it is the same like on the 320/370 devices, and should also behave the same. After performing the change, you better factory reset the 300 to make sure that the DND key is clean.

Can you folks send the screen shot of the button profile assigned to that extension (on the PBX) and "Function Keys" page from the phone that is registered to that extension (phone's web interface)?

Yes,

I guess it's standard, we didn't change anything.

We do have the following lines in snom_3xx_phone.xml :

<using_server_managed_dnd idx="{lc}" perm="RW">on</using_server_managed_dnd>

<dnd_on_code perm="RW">{starcode code_dnde}</dnd_on_code>

<dnd_off_code perm="RW">{starcode code_dndd}</dnd_off_code>{fin_button dnd none}
